System Operation
Q. Do I need to already have a domain name to use your system?
A. No. If you already own a domain and want to use it that's great. As long as you have access to the domain name login from your registrar we can use it. If you do not have a domain name alraedy we will be happy to register one for you free as part of your setup fee. The annual cost after the first year will be $25 CAD.
Q. How Easy is it to use your system?
A. We use a very flexible and easy to use content management system called MODX. If you can use Microsoft Word or a similar type program then you are all set to go. An easy to use editor is there to help you enter content.
Getting Help
Q. Do you have any tutorials on how to use the website system?
A. Absolutely. We have a whole bunch. :) Visit http://www.youtube.com/user/bridgecourtinc to see short videos on how to use the system.
Q. Where can I get help if something goes wrong?
A. Simply email us at support @ mysonlight . com and explain your problem. We will get back to you and investigate the problem.
Accounting and Billing
Q. What payment types do you accept?
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard or check (that's a cheque for Canadians) :).
Q. When will the setup fees be charged?
A. Once you give us the the green light we will contact you for your credit card number or you can send us a cheque. An official invoice will be sent to you.
Q. When will my monthly fee be charged?
A. Your credit card will be charged each month on the 1st of the month. If you sign up on the 16th then it will be charged on the 1st of the following month. So hey, you get a few weeks free. :-) If you are paying by cheque then we bill you every 6 months on the 1st of the month following your signup.
Q. Can I cancel my account at any time?
A. Yes absolutely. There are no contracts or time commitments. We are confident once you start using our system you will not want to go anywhere else. But if for some reason you do, you can cancel at any time. If you are paying by cheque then your 6 month block is non-refundable.
Signing Up
Q. How long does it take to sign up?
A. If you choose to go with one of our designs then it only takes a matter of a few days. Once your site is ready you will receive an email with your log in details. If you are going to have us design a custom website for you then we will contact you for a consultation to assess your needs to get the process started. Usually you will have your new design within 2 weeks.
